Online casino software
developer,
Boss Media, has signed on another big client as the company continues
to stay at the top of its game in the European facing gaming industry. Following
a two year deal with Gaming VC last month, Boss Media is now partnering up with
Ireland's largest bookmaker and formidable contender in the Irish and British
betting markets, Paddy Power. The deal will have Boss developing and supplying a
multi-lingual online casino platform for Paddy Power, who already offers casino
games along with a horde of other betting options to its large player base.
Paddy Power derives most of its
"power" from its 220 betting shops disbursed throughout Ireland and the UK.
While the online gaming division is performing well in its own right, complete
with fixed odds games, poker, bingo, casino games, lotteries, financial trading,
skill gaming, auctions and sports betting, Paddy Power thinks they can be doing
more. With an annual turnover of €1.8 billion last year, most gaming analysts
will agree that Paddy Power is doing just fine.
Perhaps Paddy Power is gearing
up for increases in UK traffic with the coming enforcement of the UK Gambling
Bill and greater opportunities in advertising. Indeed, Paddy Power is licensed
in Alderney, which is one of the two whitelisted online casino regulatory
jurisdictions meeting up to the high standards imposed by the UK Gambling
Commission. It is not far-fetched at all to say that Paddy Power should be
expecting an even greater amount of diversified traffic in the coming months.
It was not revealed exactly what
languages would be offered on the new platform. However, Paddy Power is
guaranteed to get Boss Media's latest online casino platform and betting
solutions, which include a sophisticated back-end tool-kit, thus allowing Paddy
Power to seamlessly integrate its cashier and customer base with Boss Media's
entire online casino suite.
