Leading online skill games software developer, Game Account, has agreed to a
deal with At the Races, which is one of the most well-known horserace
betting conglomerates in the U.K. and Ireland. Covering a substantial
number of race courses in North America, Germany, UK and Ireland, At the Races
provides a live horseracing news service via their cable station through SKY TV,
which is available to over 9 million UK and Irish households. At the Races
also operates an online site where bettors can gain immediate access to leading
online sportsbooks, internet poker and online casino games; And in the near
future - online skill games.
Game Account will be developing an entirely custom-branded, white label
online gaming solution for At the Races, who may very well need to change their
name considering all the different forms of entertainment and online gambling
they are now offering. Game Account commented on the deal, saying they are
very pleased to be doing business with such a "commercially astute" online
gaming company. Keeping that in mind, Game Account says they will be
developing games that cater to serious online players looking for high-stake
tournaments and heads-up games.
At the Races Head of Commercial Development, Tony Sweeney, regards the new
deal as yet another way of targeting a relevant product to their online
visitors. He went on to say that online attendance has steadily increased
every time a new technological offering was installed on their website.
Considering that online skill gaming is growing at a fast rate, and that its
popularity is spreading within and beyond the UK and Europe, Sweeney is
predicting the relationship between At the Races and Game Account will be a
profitable one.
When the online skill gaming platform is developed, players will be able to
gamble at over fourteen different poker-style games, including tournament
blackjack, real-time multi-player Blackjack, casino-style Three-Card Poker,
Backgammon, Gin Rummy and the online skill version of Classic Pool. All of
the games will be available in a no-download platform, and as Game Account
promises, will be backed with large prizes, high-stake online tournaments, and
prize pools exceeding the 250,000 mark.
