The first-version release of a jointly developed online mobile game offering by World Poker Tour Enterprises (WPTE) and 3G-Scene Limited took place last week, and will be available soon on select mobile phone carriers and UK-based subscribers.  3G-Scene Limited is a London-based mobile technology developer, recently licensed by WPTE to jointly develop turnkey solutions enabling online mobile gaming services. 3G-Scened was instrumental in helping to design the product interface, as well as management and sales solutions for when the new product goes global.

The first version of mobile software is of a Texas Hold'em poker game that enables multi-player betting from several mobile phones at a single time.  Real money betting in a live environment will be the name of the game on this highly advanced platform.  What is likely just going to be the tip of the iceberg in online mobile gambling offerings by WPTE, players can expect to have access to an entire suite of multi-player poker games and online casino games in the near future.

The online gambling site for WPTE already offers a large suite of poker games (Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha Hi Lo, Seven-Card Stud, and Seven-Card Stud Hi Lo), not to mention a standard selection of classic online casino games and slot machines, so it will be no surprise when WPTE's mobile gambling offering will include the rest of their online casino and poker suite.  The subscription to their mobile poker games will be offered through several worldwide mobile carriers, which players will be able to use through a simple online download.

WPTE Founder and CEO, Steve Lipscomb, commented that his company is confident in the product solutions being developed by 3G-Scene Limited, who was the best option for developing a mobile platform that was par with the company's current gaming software, not to mention their esteemed position in the global poker industry.  As for WPT's online casino and poker software, this was developed by Wager Works Inc. (founded by Silicon Gaming in 2000), whose subsidiary, WagerWorks Alderney 3 Limited, holds an online casino and gaming license through Alderney, and operates the site itself.
